Tiffany & Co.’s Blue Box Café Lands in Singapore: Breakfast, Burgers, and Luxe Vibes

Nearly a decade after its New York debut, Tiffany & Co.’s iconic Blue Box Café has opened its first Southeast Asian location in Singapore. Located on the third floor of the brand’s flagship store at Ion Orchard, the café brings Audrey Hepburn–level glamour to Orchard Road with a menu crafted by three-Michelin-starred chef Julien Royer. Available Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 10pm, it offers everything from caviar-topped breakfasts to an unexpected take on Hainanese chicken rice.

A Decade in the Making

The Singapore outpost follows the original Blue Box Café, which launched in New York in 2017, and subsequent openings in Tokyo and Hong Kong. The brand’s signature Tiffany blue dominates every surface—from upholstery to walls—while mirrored ceilings create the illusion of an endless sea of iconic boxes. Every corner is designed for social media, with gleaming surfaces and curated artwork amplifying the luminous glow.

The Menu: From Breakfast to Dinner

Chef Julien Royer, of acclaimed French restaurant Odette, anchors the menu in French technique while weaving in American and Asian influences.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s ($78 per person, 10am–11:30am) is the flagship experience. It arrives on a two-tiered silver stand featuring Maison Beillevaire butter, smoked trout with crème fraîche, soft-boiled Oita eggs crowned with Oscietra caviar, and an assortment of delicate viennoiserie. For a lighter option, Holly’s Favourites ($38 per person)—named after Hepburn’s character—includes pastries, baguette with butter, and a choice of beverage and fresh juice.

The Tea at Tiffany’s afternoon set ($98 per person) presents a three-tiered stand of tea sandwiches, patisseries, and gateaux. The café’s signature Blue Box Café Original Blend ($12 per pot) delivers a fragrant blend of black tea infused with rose lavender and vanilla—unique to each global location.

For lunch or dinner, the all-day menu is intentionally focused. Highlights include the heirloom beetroots ($28), a layered salad with salt-roasted beets, crunchy almond crumbs, goat’s cheese, and arugula oil. The confit yellow chicken ($48) offers a creative spin on Hainanese chicken rice, starring crispy Niigata rice mixed with chicken skin.

The Tiffany Burger ($34) nods to the brand’s Manhattan roots: a Black Angus beef patty (served medium-rare) on potato brioche with house-made sauce and melted cheddar. Time Out’s review notes that while the sauce and cheese carry the flavor, the patty could use more seasoning and grill time—but the skin-on fries are perfectly crispy.

Desserts and Final Impressions

SniX ($22) combines Snickers and Twix influences in a peanut butter–rich creation with salted caramel. The Tiffany Island ($22) reimagines the French Île Flottante, featuring meringue and vanilla cream atop orange blossom water.

Time Out’s rating: 4/5. The verdict? You’re paying for the setting as much as the food. The Tiffany-blue interiors, polished service, and sheer novelty of dining inside a luxury jewelry icon are the main draws. While dishes like the confit chicken and burger don’t fully justify their price tags based on flavor alone, the signature experiences—Breakfast at Tiffany’s or afternoon tea—deliver the fantasy.

The Bottom Line

As the review puts it: “If you’ve ever dreamed of having breakfast at Tiffany’s, this is about as close as it gets on this side of the world.” For those planning a visit, prioritize the signature offerings and treat the experience as a luxury indulgence rather than a value play.
