Lady M Returns to Singapore with New Jewel Changi Airport Boutique

Lady M has officially returned to the Singapore dessert scene, opening a new 44-seat boutique at Jewel Changi Airport. The reopening marks the end of a brief hiatus for the New York-born bakery, which had closed all its previous island-wide outlets in January following the conclusion of a long-standing licensing agreement.

A Strategic Comeback

The return is far from a tentative step. Following the closure of its iconic locations at Orchard Central, ION Orchard, Westgate, and South Beach, the brand has reorganized under a new Southeast Asia operational structure. The Jewel Changi Airport location—situated in the same unit the brand previously occupied—serves as the flagship for this new chapter.

The expansion plans are aggressive. According to the brand, two additional outlets are scheduled to open by the end of June. Patrons can expect new locations at IOI Central Boulevard Towers and Marina Bay Link Mall, signaling a rapid scaling of operations following the transition.

Menu Highlights and Pricing

For the uninitiated, Lady M is best known for its signature mille crepe cakes, characterized by ultra-thin layers of crepe and cream. The Jewel outlet offers the classic Original Mille Crêpes starting at $11.80 per slice. The menu also features distinct varieties, including:

  • Green Tea: $12.80 per slice.
  • Chocolate: $13.50 per slice.
  • Strawberry Blossom: A new flavor featuring strawberry cream and fresh berries, priced at $13.50.

Beverage options range from espresso starting at $4.50 to premium teas priced above $6.50. The bakery also offers a set menu; a bundle including two cake slices and two drinks is available for $35.80. Beyond sweets, the kitchen has introduced savory options, including broccoli and cheese, French onion, and tomato bisque soups, with prices starting from $12. Patrons looking for gifts can also purchase crepe biscuits in decorative tins for $22.

Locations and Availability

The Jewel Changi Airport boutique is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 8 Airport Blvd., #02-253. In addition to the permanent store, Lady M is currently operating a pop-up at Velocity @ Novena Square until October 31. This temporary location offers takeaway slices and whole cakes for those unable to travel to the airport.

Industry Context

Lady M’s original entry into the Singapore market dates back to 2013 through a licensing partnership with Caerus Holding. That arrangement officially ended on Dec. 11, 2025, leading to a temporary market exit. The brand’s swift return under a direct management model suggests a strong commitment to the Southeast Asian consumer base and confidence in the region’s luxury F&B sector. With a refreshed digital presence and a revitalized physical footprint, the bakery aims to reclaim its status as a staple in Singapore’s dessert landscape.
