A troop of 15 hyper-realistic, roaming dinosaurs will descend on Resorts World Sentosa this December, as Japan’s acclaimed live theatrical production Dino-A-Live stages its international debut outside of Japan. The spectacle’s lifelike quality stems from Dino-Techne, a patented mechanical suit system developed over two decades by Japanese engineering firm On-Art. These suits replicate the nuanced muscle movements and physical presence of prehistoric animals, making them far more convincing than static exhibits or digital projections. The effect is amplified by theatrical lighting, original music, choreographed dance, projected visuals, and atmospheric touches such as wind, flowing plants, swimming fish, and floral elements — all designed to transport audiences into a prehistoric world.
The dinosaur lineup spans both fan favorites and lesser-known species. Attendees can expect to see Tyrannosaurus Rex, Brachiosaurus, Triceratops, and Stegosaurus, alongside Ankylosaurus, Utahraptor, Allosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Suchomimus, and Dakotaraptor.
